Prometric is a leading provider of technology-enabled testing and assessment solutions for credentialling and licensure organizations around the world. When the company needed to refresh its corporate communications, it turned to Ascribe to develop a messaging script to help effectively promote its innovative, AI-enhanced approach to fully customized testing.

How Ascribe helped

As Prometric’s offerings have expanded and diversified over the years, the company found itself with multiple websites that lacked a consistent look and feel and had different ways of talking about those offerings. Needing to consolidate and unify its messaging, Prometric reached out to Ascribe in early 2024. We met with key members of the senior leadership team to learn more about the Prometric approach to test development and delivery — and to better understand how that approach helps Prometric stand out from its competition.

Based on what we heard, as well as our review of extensive background material, including presentations, recordings and other collateral, we developed a concise messaging guide presenting Prometric’s overarching value proposition and elevator pitch. The guide also included key messages to support marketing efforts with specific audiences, explain the company’s most important benefits and differentiators, and highlight the unique aspects of its innovative approach. These components provide an accessible framework the company can use to tell a consistent, compelling story about itself to prospective clients such as government agencies, academic institutions and professional associations, and to the people taking the tests who want more information about the assessment process.

Once the messaging script was approved, we also developed copy for Prometric’s website refresh, incorporating the updated messaging to help the company put its best foot forward.
