Alex oversees day-to-day operations at Ascribe, keeping the company nimble, efficient and responsive to client needs. A systems thinker with an entrepreneurial background and experience managing large-scale digital marketing projects, Alex seeks continuous process improvements — optimizing Ascribe’s capacity to deliver while upholding the company’s high standards and providing a fulfilling, rewarding team work environment.
Steve draws on his journalism training and extensive marcom experience to research, write and edit the full range of deliverables produced by Ascribe. He is a skilled copyeditor and proofreader and plays a key role in upholding the company’s quality standard as an internal reviewer of the team’s work, ensuring clients’ messages are conveyed clearly and accurately.
Michael’s journalistic training and knack for communicating complex subject matter clearly and concisely ensure the content he writes is accurate, on message and tells a compelling story. As an editorial reviewer and copyeditor, Michael’s natural meticulousness paired with a firm grasp on client style standards yields precise, error-free copy.
Christine oversees project execution, working in partnership with the production coordinator to ensure deadlines, milestones and client needs are met. With a decade of project management experience in telecoms and mechanical services, Christine understands how to shepherd complex projects to successful conclusions — which for her means satisfied clients and a happy Ascribe team.
Al brings a lively style and creative flair to Ascribe’s writing team. Skilled at capturing the details that count and shaping them into engaging stories that hold the reader’s attention from start to finish, he has produced the full range of marcom content over the years: video scripts, white papers, case studies, articles, web copy and more.
Marie is a critical and perceptive thinker who creates impactful copy and compelling narratives for all of Ascribe’s clients. With a background in the cultural sector, she is a skilled researcher and a resourceful writer. Her marcom credentials include the full range of deliverables produced by Ascribe.
Brenda is a quick study with broad range and a “get-it-done” attitude, producing content across the full breadth of subject matter and marcom forms. Her writing acumen and proofreader’s precision — as well as her previous experience as a bilingual editor with the federal government — play an important role in helping our clients meet their marketing communications goals.
Mary provides seamless behind-the-scenes project management support to the Ascribe team, scheduling projects to ensure they’re set up for success. Drawing on decades of experience at top Ottawa creative agencies, she understands how to keep work flowing smoothly with production that’s paced to meet tight client deadlines with quality work.
Julene oversees the daily and weekly production flow at Ascribe, ensuring team resources are available and assigned to ensure successful client delivery. With more than 20 years of experience managing schedules on projects of all scales, she’s quick to spot dependencies and understands different players’ work styles, both of which are key to adapting fluidly as the workflow dynamically evolves.
