INNOVATION — CANADA’S OTHER NATURAL RESOURCE: GLOBAL AFFAIRS CANADA

To promote the country’s strengths as a destination for science, technology and innovation (S,T&I) development, Global Affairs Canada (formerly Foreign Affairs and International Trade Canada (FAITC)) created an umbrella identity for the wide range of sectors and specializations involved. Ascribe worked with a design and branding partner to survey S,T&I stakeholders and develop tagline options and key messages based on perceptions of what the country has to offer, with the final selection being Innovation: Canada’s other natural resource.
