A FRESH APPROACH FOR THE COMPETITION BUREAU — AND ITS ANNUAL REPORT
A longtime design partner brought Ascribe in to help retool the content of the Competition Bureau’s 2012–13 annual report, seeking to express the new Commissioner’s direction for the organization. The goal was to make the document more accessible to non-expert readers, and to plant the seeds for the Bureau’s strategic shift to a collaborative model of ensuring fair competition in Canada. We contributed written concepts and thematic approaches as well as a new structure for telling the Bureau’s story of the year. Following that work, we facilitated an internal meeting and wrote a scannable, short-format annual plan for the 2014–15 period, and captured the achievements of 2013–14 in the organization’s most recent annual report.
